No Accidents

Hey Everyone! Well it's been a week since I last checked in. WOW that went fast! Well I'm happy to report no tickets or accidents in my first week of driving! That's good news, right? Thanks for all the Congrats.

I'm sitting on the bus chillin' and watching a movie (I did my homework first Mom!). I can't believe we only have 3 days left on the tour. Winter Jam went way too fast! We've made so many new friends and it stinks to say goodbye for now. I wish all of you could have come to WJ 09. It was awesome! Hopefully we will be on the tour next year! It's definitely our favorite. Winter Jam ROCKS!!

We are off for a week starting on Monday for Spring Break. My family is going camping and I plan on a lot of fishing. After we get back, we have to get to work finishing our CD and getting back in shape to do our full shows. So yeah we need some rest first! I'm gonna sleep a lot besides the fishing! And I'm gonna eat a lot - I love campfire food! Ok yes - I love FOOD!

Hi pureNRG peeps! If you have been keeping up with JCC’s blogs you know that this is the last weekend of Winter Jam.....so sad! All the artists on the tour have worked so hard, but are sad to see it come to an end. pureNRG was able to be apart of Winter Jam 2009 because of their awesome sponsor, the Precious Girls Club. JCC are headed on Spring Break next week. Are any of you headed on Spring Break? Be sure to check back in on their journals to see where their travels are taking them.

Last Weekend Of Winter Jam

I am sitting on the bus with the fan mail you all have sent and having a great time reading all the awesome letters! Thank you!

I can't believe this is the last weekend of Winterjam. We have had a great time getting to perform for and meeting so many of you. But I am not too sad because as soon as Winterjam is over I am flying to England to see my brother. He has been there for 3 months. I am super excited to see him again and to see London and Windsor. So, I will talk to you guys in a week or so after I get back.

Well, I am about through catching up on the February blogs. It is great to hear from so many of you all. Can you believe WinterJam is almost over? But then we will get to finish recording our CD and travel around to some churches and festivals this summer so that will be completely awesome!!

So, just to let you know …

WinterJam? Thursday and Friday nights we perform at 6:20pm and on Sat and Sun we perform at 5:20pm

Favorite snack food? Apple cinnamon rice cakes

I love to sightsee in the cities where we perform when we are on the road

Favorite place in Cincinnati? Great Wolf Lodge

PureNRG started in Nashville with auditions held by Proper Management

Favorite character on Little House on the Prairie: Grace

When my mom is on the road with me, she tries to take pictures of people in the meet and greet line and posts them on the website

Singing vs dancing? Too hard to choose!

My homeschool uses lots of different books from a bookstore called Logos

Everyone at our school just treats us like regular kids … which we are!

Favorite place to go in Nashville: Opryland

Personal influences? Blanca from GroupOneCrew and Nirva from TobyMac and the Diverse City Band

I love being in pureNRG and don’t feel like I miss out on other kid stuff too much (just some birthday sleepovers sometimes!)

I’m sorry, I haven’t heard of Seth and Seven Places

I like lots of different kinds of music – I don’t have one favorite band or musical style

I try to eat a healthy diet – it helps give me energy for performing

Favorite TV show: Jon and Kate plus 8

Favorite teen store? Limited too but now it is gone L and I don’t have a favorite brand of shoes (I love them all)

Our meanager won’t let us return emails – sorry!

It's My Turn

Hello Everyone! Today, I have had a good day! We are in Grand Rapids, MI and this is the last week of the WinterJam '09 tour (you may have read this in my past journal) and I am so sad to be leaving these memories and all of these wonderful people. :( However, I know that God has already planned for what is gonna happen next and I trust that!

Well, I know that I am the only NRGetic member of pureNRG who has not written a journal for answers to some of your questions, so I thought it would be cool if my next journal was completely dedicated to answering YOUR questions. But, to keep it fun, I will only answer the questions from the comments on THIS journal...not any others. I am going to do the best that I can to answer all of your questions!

The Real Thing

Hey Everyone! Today we recorded the title track of the new CD, "The Real Thing"! It was so much fun! Right now I am doing my vocals, completing an English assignment, writing a journal, and doing my laundry. Tomorrow we are leaving on the last trip of WinterJam '09 :( so sad. All of the people on this tour are so incredible and I really don't want to see it end. Well, I have go unpack my suitcase so I can put the clothes in the washer...of course to put right back in the suitcase haha!

Drama Class

Hey peeps!

I am studying for my English class. I have a test. I am so excited because I just love tests so, so much! JK. I wanted to tell ya'll about my drama class. We are learning about stand up comedy and we all had to pick a character to use in our routine. My character is a country girl whose name is Dixie. She lives on a farm in Oklahoma and has a cow named Josie Mae. Josie Mae makes chocolate milk and is the best cow ever. Jonathan has a baby calf and we call him JJ (Jonathon Junior). He also makes chocolate milk.

And now a word from my character Dixie:

“One day a big twister was coming through the town. The wind was so strong! I flew up in the air and was knocked on to the top of my calf, JJ. JJ was so scared that he ran all the way to Hollywood! I hope JJ can find our way home. I miss my mama and papa but I am so so hap hap happy that I got to talk to ya'll!!!!!!!”

So, as you can see, she's kinda crazy!!

Shout out to Danille and Kasi, I love the bear. It is so adorable and so lovable. Also shout out to Emily and Cambry!

BTW- The picture that's named Blogging to YOU! is not me blogging. I am doing homework, I was totally typing an essay.

Going Crazy with the Q&A

Okay, so you guys are going crazy with the Q and As but here goes …

Happy Birthday to The Biggest Fan! and Sarah (10), and Maria, and BakePrincess and Levi.

Prayers for Summer’s friend in the car wreck, Krysta, Kaysee, Elisha, and Jenna.

NCFCA and Potter’s School – I don’t know about them but thanks for telling me.

I love TobyMac’s music and my favorite song is Diverse City.

I think I like the current fashions best but I like to dress up like the 80s too.

We have been to Canada and are going to Norway and the Dominican Republic this summer.

Favorite pizza topping? Bacon

No more reMixes are planned.

I haven’t read Nancy Drew.

I like the band name SLiDe.

We do get to keep the clothes from our photo shoots and performances. We have a wardrobe consultant that picks out our clothes.

For everyday clothes I like to shop at Nordstrom.

I got my ears pierced at age 6.

On my iPOD? My old dance competition music and my vocal exercises and the score from Wicked.

We sing about 15 different songs when we do a show of our own – some off of each CD.

I love WinterJam but I don’t have a favorite show or city from the tour.

Favorite hairstyle: I like long hair because you can do lots of different things with it.

Recording is fun but a lot of hard work and long hours too. We record standing up and each CD has a different feel.

Favorite subject in school? Math

Favorite book of the bible? Phillipians

What are my favorite gifts? Birthday cards, candy, letters, pictures, scrapbooks, bracelets … I am so appreciative of it all .. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I really am going crazy with the new background I found (the black and white scratch)! I am using it for lots of Narnia graphics and fading it into photos and I thought it was just perfect for a Jordan picture. I plan to do a "On Fire For God" wallie for CC as well and I STILL need to get Carolyne's scrapbook wallie done! I might redo this one and blend the pictures into the background... Anyway, I making it up to you Jordan for putting you in a purple and pink wallie! ;)

Hall Pass

Hey peoples!!
So yesterday was school ... everyone's favorite! Lol! I actually really like school a lot. Well it was last period when I got done with my assignments early. I was kind of bored so I asked to use the restroom. My teacher handed me the hall pass and I walked to the restroom. As I was shutting the door I accidentally let go of the hall pass and dropped it in the toilet!!! Yuck! I ran into the classroom laughing so hard and told my wonderful teacher, Ms. Bowen, what happened. She said "I don't want it back," as she laughed. My advice to you is to not drop the hall pass in the toilet. Special shout out to Mrs.King, my English teacher, because I know she reads my blogs!

PS I love blogging and I love hearing from you! Shout out for the great cross stitch gift and to CJC fan.

Well I just left the DMV where I took the driving test and failed. Miserably. Haha just joking! I'm an official Tennessee driver now. I

I like to dress up as the Pink Nightmare at Winterjam but I don’t do it all the time … just sometimes at intermission.

Sending pictures from your cell phone to our website? You may want to ask Stacey about that one.

I definitely get crazy excited when I hear about something I like – my eyes get really big and I jump up and down … crazy!!

I have one pet fish. This one is a guppy. All my other fish died :(

I don’t know why Carolyne doesn’t use her first name. I have always known her as Carolyne.
